TOP BRANDS ARE MADE IN VIETNAM

In today's growing manufacturing market, many of our favorite brands are switching their manufacturing base from the typical hub of China to the now growing Vietnam. The continued growth and leading stance of Vietnam have meant that not only is the popularity of Vietnamese brand awareness on the rise, but also the choice for famous brands and companies to choose Vietnamese cities as their hub of manufacturing due to increased potential and consumer recognition.

INTEL

The high-ranking PC and laptop company Intel has much faith in the growth and performance of Vietnam, with the show of regular investment of $475 million towards Vietnam's production of 5G products and other high technology supplies.

Furthermore, of all of Intel's global production sites across the globe, Vietnam is home to the largest assembly and test site which is situated near Ho Chi Minh City.

SAMSUNG

Samsung is another example of a leading brand that utilizes the expanding demographic of the Vietnamese market. Two of Samsung's manufacturing plants are also based near Ho Chi Minh City, and up to 50% of the company's phones are produced at these allocated venues.

In turn, Samsung has taken the role of closing many of its hubs in China, meaning Vietnam will slowly and surely become the largest manufacturing base for the company.

In relation to this, Samsung also confirmed that they would be opening another manufacturing hub in Vietnam, alongside a factory in Ho Chi Minh City for the production of items such as televisions and air conditioning units.

The investment into Vietnam is also expanded through the company's plans to relocate its major research and development center to the country, which would therefore make Vietnam the home of the largest R&D center for the company in South East Asia.

The zero-waste clothing brand Everlane is also broadening its horizons to Vietnam, so much so that exactly 100% of its suppliers are based in the country which shows heightened investment.

To add to this, Everlane itself as a company boat of its Vietnamese connections which shows pride and optimism in terms of the investing market. This can serve as an added advantage through the added appeal to likewise consumers such as Vietnamese people and enterprises.

ADIDAS

Vietnam is home to 76 Adidas factories and is responsible for being the country with the largest workforce and supply chain producing the brand's products. 200,000 workers make up the manufacturing hubs in Vietnam, in which 44% of Adidas' shoes and boots were made.

In today's markets, apart from accessories, Vietnam holds the majority when it comes to the production of The North Face apparel and clothing which is a massive win for Vietnamese brands who supply such manufacturing.
